The overall objective is to meet the requirement of China Life's headquarters and branches for all kinds of meetings (including large conferences), training, interactive morning meetings and operating in a competitive market by bringing in the advanced technologies and multiple functions of the AVCON online videoconference system.

1.1 Standards Compliant, Providing Clear, Smooth Video and Audio |

The videoconference system shall comply with video standards including ITU-H.323 and ISO-MPEG, support encoding/decoding standards including MPEG4, H263, H263+ and H264. The transmit audio with UDP protocol, and video with TCP/UDP/multicast protocol. The output audio shall be continuous and smooth, without any staccato, interruption, echo or overlapped voices. In this way, the system will ensure that the large conferences which involve 35 provincial branches, 348 secondary branches, 2,667 county-level branches, over 14,300 service halls and tens of thousands of marketing and service personnel in China Life, have the advantage of support for several group meetings with a single MCU, and support more than 500 concurrent streams simultaneously. |

1.2 Various Technologies Ensure Audio/Video Synchronization |

To ensure audio/video synchronization for interactive morning meetings, the maximum resolution for signal collection of video systems shall not be smaller than 704X576, video output ;shall be 16-bit enhanced colour or 32-bit true colour signal ; support AV, microphone and LINE port signal input.
The system shall support the collection and broadcast of local and remote multiple video signals; support random position and adjustment of multiple video pictures ; support remote audio/video control and adjustment; support dual-screen output to show local and remote video signals on different displays; support 43 and 169 video output; support functions of acoustic echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain control; and shall contain synchronizing & smoothing technology. |

1.3 Multi-Picture Interaction, On-screen Video Training Material |

The video conference system shall provide training, teaching, VOD, live video/multicast services; provide audio/video interaction for pictures; shift the display position of pictures freely; display information of logon users; join training at any time; cancel echo in the system; have a user-friendly, convenient, flexible operation and management interface for easy operation, management and maintenance of the system; provide video recording for single picture or entire content and play back the videos.
